TWF Zine Spread

I created this as a spread piece for a zine (fan art book) dedicated to "The Walten Files", a horror ARG series on YouTube. Our team wanted to highlight all of the main characters and events that take place so far and my task was to illustrate the character Brian Stells meeting the possessed Bon Bunny animatronic for the first, and last, time. The viewer never gets a good look at what that encounter looked like, so I used shots from the original video to help compose this together. Keeping the gross and musty atmosphere helped provide a sense of dimension to the scene, and also emphasized how this animatronic was abandoned here for a reason. Bon himself is mostly in shadow as a looming danger to Brian Stells, and all that is clear to see are his glowing eyes and the light reflecting off of his claws.
