Foam Projectile Blaster

For this team project I was assigned to collaborate with Tiffany Petrovic in creating a new design for this foam projectile blaster model, each of us painting half of it. What we set out to achieve was consistency in design and paint quality while working on this project at different times and days from each other. While working on this, I had to problem solve how to achieve a consistent camo pattern with stencils I cut out as well as developing a standard method for weathering the paint on the gun via sanding and paint flicking. My partner Tiffany and I also communicated extensively on our progress, what paint ratios we used, how many coats we applied, etc.
Overall this project took around a month and a half to be completed.

Second concept piece for the blaster project, revisited to break up the monochrome design and introduce weathering effects after research into how artillery would wear naturally.
